Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are certainly one of the most talked about couples and the duo were in news after India's defeat against Australia in the World Cup semi-final. While, Virat Kohli failed to impress with his bat on the semi-final match, social media was abuzz with accusations on Virat's girlfriend Anushka Sharma. Several posts were made on Twitter, ridiculing Anushka Sharma and blamed the actress as jinx for Virat Kohli's poor performance.
Although, Virat Kohli was silent on the issue till date, he has finally spoken his heart out on criticising words on Anushka Sharma and him. Speaking on the issue, Virat Kohli said, "At a human level, I would say I was hurt and the people who said those things and the way they said, they should be ashamed of themselves. To see those reactions after just one match was very disappointing for me personally. It makes you lose faith in a lot of people. But it's a good theing in a way. You get to know who's with you and who's not. It was not in my control but the reactions were very disappointing." After the tournament, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were seen coming together of the airport holding each others hands and many appreciated the couple's support for each other.
